Yes, Aventura is the best in their game, and we (Bachata fans) are proud of how big they have gotten and how well they represented our genre. You should not put down groups like Toby Love and Extreme down. Aventura has opened a door and are very proud to be the ones who opened that door for artists such as Toby and Extreme. Their success will only make Aventura bigger, so Toby, Extreme and any other group that is working hard, keep it up.

Not to hate or anything but I wonder where his so called "friends/boys" Aventura are now after he used to defend them to death NOWHERE because they dont give a shyt about anybody.

Ok, even though I agree that when Los Teenagers came out, they did sound horrible live, and also as Aventura in the beginning, they sounded bad live, that still doesn't take away from Romeo's great songwriting skills even back then.

.His songs are CLASSIC from the very beginning. That means that he had great songs from day one...

That's the key difference between C&A and Aventura...GOOD SONGS that stand the test of time, that other artists want to cover, that still make you want to listen to them!!!!!!

Carlos songwriting is GARBAGE. Unless he gets someone who can help him or straight up write for him, he's done!

That's why we have so many Dominican artists who do not rise to super-star level. The managers and labels are only thinking about money, and quality comes last to them.

Romeo, Wason Brazoban, & Juan Luis Guerra are some of the very few contemporary Dominican singer/songwriters that are on another level artistically.

No hate, but most of these local bachateros, including C & A, need a lot more work before they can compete on any level.

They are not Aventura but

They do have talent. Period.

It's funny that people are even having this conversation,c&a are good but not good enough to be in the same sentence as aventura.That's where the problem is, los latinos se conforman muy rapido and that's why we have a lot of garbage out there,radios stations play alot of garbage too and they the ones that educate the people so if you play wack shit that's what people will learn to like. I know a lot of other groups that have better songs than c&a and they don't get played or talked about.Again not hating they have talent but you guys are hyping them up too much and making them look and sound better than they actually do.

No doubts that C&A have talent. For a group to be achieving what they are achieving in one year is amazing. They are not there yet but are arriving.

I recall that Aventura and Romeo Began as the teenagers and actually were so bad that they had to change image to Aventura. So it was possible.

Carlos Y Alejandra, as i hear them now, have as much potential as Aventura had when they began 13 years ago. They are generating a following of supportive fans in the underground.....

AVENTURA WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT WERE GARBAGE. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT. CUZ I KNOW PEOPLE FROM THAT BAND. LIVE THEY WERE WACK! THEY HAD THE WORST MUSICIANS IN THE WORLD. Let's say that C & A need much improvement in every aspect: songwriting, vocals (C needs to find a better singing voice, A needs intensive vocal training!), and image (that Romeo wannabe look doesn't help).

Crabman had it right when he said that C looks like the villain from Flash Gordon, with the greasy skullcap squeezing his head. Sorry, just having some fun.

To those who say that more time will make them better: ok, maybe that's true, hopefully. Aventura had talent from the start though. They're first album has classic songs.

I agree that C&A are not at aventura level yet. But after seeing them playing recently, they do have something special. For a group who is only out for a year, wow.
They are doing their thing. Good luck to them. I think that have what it takes.

I am shocked that Carlos Y alejandra are being compared to Aventura.

Carlos Y Alejandra are very good but they are not at aVentura level yet.

Romeo has 13 years of practice. And 13 years to perfect his style.

Carlos Y Alejandra have only 1 year.

I believe that they are good and will be good if they just keep at it; as they are doing now.

My money is on them for the future.

carlos y alejandra are so so....... musically it's good and mixed well but romeo, i mean carlos gotta let go of that aventura voice....... and alejandra needs to elongate her lines.

i mus admit carlos lyrics are not even on the same level as antony from aventuras ,,, and the music is not as good either.

if carlos has more talent than he wuld be higher than aventura but he not he still at the same level as naturale, 4ever, j.d, hustle hearts carlos y alejandra still have to play at local bars to make money
